Thank you and congratulations to the 2023 Board of Education Members. During the November 2022 election, Steph Roach, John Schultz, and Amanda Groff were elected as members of the Board of Education. They join incumbents Brent Rainforth, Zach VanDiest, and Cristi Engel.
The board of education held its annual organizational meeting and elected the following officers:

Vice-President - Steph Roach
Secretary - John Schultz
Treasurer - Zach VanDiest

Come join the fun!! Tonight is TeamMates night along with Parents Night at the home basketball games starting at 4:30PM against Ravenna. Teammates will be doing concessions with a dinner special of 1 slice of Red Bird pizza, cookie, and bottle of water for $5. Mentees, Mentors, and Board Members WEAR RED or TeamMates Gear to be recognized at halftime of the boys basketball game! We will also be doing our center court ball toss fundraiser for our senior scholarships tonight - $5 per ball for a chance to win $100 cash prize!

**10:00 AM Late Start on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. After consulting with the Hall County Road Department, the decision was made to have a 10:00 AM late start on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. This additional time to start the day will provide trucks and sunlight to help melt the ice and provide ample time for safe travels to school and work. We realize this isn't the most convenient for our families, but the safety of our students, staff, and families is our first priority.

**TEACHER IN-SERVICE LATE START**: Doniphan-Trumbull Public Schools will be running a delayed start for their professional development / in-service on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. After consulting with the National Weather Service in Hastings the decision was made to delay the start of the work day until 11:30 AM on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Teacher professional development / in-service will begin at 11:30 AM to provide additional time for teachers to navigate road conditions. Specific questions should be directed to your principal or supervisor.
The remainder of the half day of in-service will be moved until the end of the school year. Currently, student's last day of school is not impacted.
Weather permitting, students will return to school on Wednesday, January 4, 2023.
