Winter Weather Reminders

Greetings D-T Families and Students,

As our most recent winter storm has come and gone, the remnants of the storm will still be sticking around for a bit, namely the less-than-ideal road conditions. Our county road crews, local village support, and our maintenance/custodial staff were efficient, safe, and proactive in our last storm.  Thank you to each of them.

Also, thank you for your patience.  I wanted to take this time to remind you that conditions will vary across our district.  I talk with individuals throughout our school district and drive a good chunk of it, however, it will ALWAYS be the prerogative of the guardian or parent to keep children at home if the road conditions are not safe in the eyes of a parent or guardian.

With the next winter storm on the horizon and bitterly cold temperatures coming, please make sure you have reviewed your winter driving tips and have safety kits packed and ready for use.

Sincerely,

Jeremy Braden

D-T Superintendent
