Doniphan-Trumbull Public Schools Announces Updated Meal Prices for 2023-2024 School Year, Supporting Families with Minimal Increases
Doniphan-Trumbull, July 6, 2023 – Doniphan-Trumbull Public Schools shares the updated meal prices for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. While rising food costs have necessitated a slight increase in prices, the district and school board remains committed to supporting families by implementing a minimal adjustment.
Effective from the start of the academic year, the revised meal prices will ensure that students continue to receive nutritious and balanced meals while accommodating the challenges posed by escalating food expenses. Doniphan-Trumbull Public Schools recognizes the importance of maintaining affordable meal options for families, and thus, the increase has been kept to a minimum.
The "Cardinal Diner" is the food service division of the Doniphan-Trumbull Public School. Our main office is located at 302 W. Plum. The Cardinal Diner operates within guidelines set forth by the United States Department of Agriculture through the Child Nutrition Program administered by the State of Nebraska Department of Education. Therefore, our food service programs are governed by federal and state regulations as well as our local guidelines. Remember the Salad Bar comes with the meal!
