Doniphan-Trumbull art students, ESU #9 Circle Art Leaders, and Mr. Herrmann took an art adventure to Joslyn Art Museum in Omaha to view the special Egyptian Art Exhibit from the Brooklyn Art Museum in New York. Students learned the Egyptians’ beliefs about life, death, and the afterlife; the process of mummification; the conduct of a funeral; and the different types of tombs. Prom Modeling

On April 18th, 17 of the girls from Doniphan-Trumbull who attended a prom went to Prairie Winds. They modeled their dresses during the residents' lunch. All of them presented a "Fun Spring Flower" to the residents! Kim said "It was a lot of fun and all the residents were so happy to see us in our dresses. It made me feel good that I made their day. It was also fun to hear their stories about when they had to go to dances and make their own dresses."
